The ELIAS Inspections application allows you to update and maintain your asset register. The application works online and offline once the facility data has been downloaded to your device.
Steps to enable an asset to be edited;
- Login and access the Inspections app home page facilities listing
- Activate facility to download data
- Find the asset to be edited;
- Search
- Scan
- All Assets list
- Navigate to the asset via the location hierarchy

Adding or Creating a new Asset
Assets always exist within the space (room) level of the location hierarchy. Assets can only be added within a space. When an asset is created the questions required will be driven by the asset type. An asset will have some mandatory required questions to be completed before it can be saved.
Steps to create a new asset
- Login and access the Inspections app home page facilities listing
- Activate facility to download data
- Find the space you want to add the asset
- Search
- Navigate to the asset via the location hierarchy
- Use the Add Asset button in the space page to start creating you new asset
- Select the asset type
- Complete all mandatory questions within the asset form or use the bypass option for those questions that can not be answered
- Save the asset
- Ensure the asset syncs to ELIAS at the earliest opportunity
